§ 13.12.160. Deposits—Receipt.

At the time the deposit is given, the applicant will be given a receipt for the same. The deposit is not to be considered as a payment on account. In the event that water service is discontinued as provided in Section 13.04.060, the deposit will be applied to the total amount due for sewer and water service and any amount in excess of the total amount due will be refunded. The city will not pay interest on any deposit.
