§ 9.04.040. Escape from custody.

It is unlawful for any person confined to the city jail or other place of confinement in the city, or working upon the streets, or other public places of the city, in pursuance of any judgment, or otherwise held in legal custody by an authority of the city, to escape or attempt to escape from any such jail, prison or custody.
