§ 3.26.020. Functions.

The public works department shall manage the functional operation and perform all routine maintenance of city-owned utility systems and roads and all city-owned capital improvements and property of whatever kind. The department shall, to the extent the mayor may from time to time direct, participate in and/or manage the construction of new capital improvements.
