§ 2.40.080. Election.

A.

If a regular election occurs within seventy-five (75) days of the submission, the council shall submit the recall at that election.

B.

If no regular election will occur within seventy-five (75) days, the council shall hold a special election within seventy-five (75) days of submission.

C.

If a vacancy occurs in the office after a recall petition is filed, the petition shall not be submitted to the voters.
