§ 2.32.030. Declaration of candidacy.

The declaration shall be in substantially the following form as provided by the city clerk's office:

DECLARATION
OF CANDIDACY

I, ___________, declare that I reside at ___________ (address), in the city of _______, Alaska; that I am at least 18 years of age; that I have been a resident of Hoonah, Alaska, for at least 60 days preceding the date of this election; that I am a citizen of the United States, a qualified and registered voter of the State of Alaska and a resident of the State for 60 days, and that I am not disqualified under Art. V of the State Constitution.

I declare myself a candidate for the office of _______ for a term of _____ years, commencing _______ and ending _______; and request that my name be printed upon the official ballot for the city election to be held in the city of _______, Alaska on the _____ day of _______ in the year _____.
