§ 2.32.020. Filing for office.

Any qualified person may have his/her name placed on the ballot for the election as a candidate for mayor, councilperson, school board or liquor board, by filing, not more than three months and at least sixty (60) days prior to the election with the city clerk, a sworn declaration of his/her candidacy, a certification of residency and a state of Alaska Financial Disclosure Statement.
