§ 17.32.090. Exemptions from subdivision regulations.

  • Exemption from or modification of the normal requirements of the subdivision regulations may be permitted when the developer demonstrates to the platting board that adequate provisions have been made in the planned unit development for sufficient light and air, that the density of development is compatible with surrounding land uses, that pedestrian and vehicular traffic circulation systems are safe and efficient, that the development will progress in orderly phases and that the public health, safety and general welfare will be protected. Further such modification should be likely to result in at least equivalent quality of living standards compared to regular developments.
